Abstract

Aquila bella mè...
It is a wound that tears the heart out of this abused, caged, offended town. Only a few eternal seconds destroyed the history of L’Aquila and the inhabitants’
normal life. We continue to discuss the possibility of rebuilding L’Aquila where it
was and as it was, whereas the historical center was transformed into a black
hole where neglect and abandonment along with rain, snow and cold, continue
to compromise the existence of its cultural heritage, while some futuristic projects go ahead and the promises of adoption have failed.

C’est une blessure qui déchire le coeur que cette ville étayée, mise en cage, offensée.
Peu de secondes, interminables, ont détruit l’histoire de L’Aquila et de
ses habitants. On continue à discuter sur la possibilité de reconstruire L’Aquila
où elle était et comme elle était, tandis que l’ancienne ville s’est transformée en un trou noir où l’abandon, ensemble avec la pluie, la neige et le gel, ne cessent de compromettre l’existence des monuments historiques, entre un projet futuriste et une adoption manquée.
