L'inganno che perpetua la regola: La storia di Lot e le sue figlie

Abstract

L'articolo esamina brevemente l'incesto tra Lot e le sue figlie (Genesi 19). L'episodio biblico è stato analizzato riconducendolo all'interno della struttura sociale dell'antica società israelitica. In particolare, esaminato alla luce delle indicazioni matrimoniali e sessuali, l'unione delle due donne con il loro padre potrebbe essere letta come l'estrema applicazione di indicazioni contenute all'interno dell'universo normativo matrimoniale.

The article briefly examines the incestuous relationship between Lot and his daughters (Genesis 19). This biblical event is analyzed tracting it back to the social structure of ancient Israelitic society. More specifically, it is examined in the light of its matrimonial and sexual roles: the union of the two women with their father could be interpreted as the application, in a extreme way, of the roles that form part of the regulations regarding marriage.
