Abstract

In the present work, Solandra maxima (Sessé & Moc.) P.S.Green (Solanaceae), a neophyte native to Mesoamerica, is reported for the first time as spontaneous for Italy and Europe: some notes on the place of discovery are provided and the invasiveness status is discussed. According to our observations the species must be considered as a casual alien
