Abstract

The Dipartimento di Biologia Vegetale of «La Sapienza» University of Rome has been publishing a botanical journal since 1885. The tenth and last volume of «Annuario del Regio Istituto di Botanica di Roma» appeared in 1908. The first volume of «Annali di Botanica» was published in 1903 and the latest is now (1996) printing. The total output (Table 1) amounts comprehensively to 62 volumes, 1.540 papers and 26.730 pages.
