Oltre l’economia eterodossa volgare: una nota sull’eredità di Pierangelo Garegnani (1930-2011)

Abstract

Il lavoro di Pierangelo Garegnani è rilevante non solo come continuazione ed estensione dell’impresa intellettuale di Piero Sraffa, ma anche per chiarire e superare l’accettazione, spesso involontaria, di elementi marginalisti all’interno dell’economia eterodossa. Questa potrebbe essere definita economia eterodossa volgare. Il lavoro di Garegnani mostra che l’economia eterodossa può essere ricostruita solo sulle fondamenta dell’economia politica classica e sulla risoluzione dei problemi della teoria del valore e della distribuzione che erano al centro del loro approccio. Il lavoro di Garegnani mostra che è necessario tornare all’abbandono della teoria marginalista del valore e della distribuzione per stabilire il principio keynesiano della domanda effettiva. Il suo lavoro fornisce gli strumenti per un coerente abbinamento analitico delle idee di Karl Marx e John Maynard Keynes.
