Abstract
Oscar Giacchi was the Director of the Psychiatric Hospital in Racconigi. In one of this works, he presented the clinical case of a malinconic patient affected by a jealousy delirium. The article analyzes the text in the light of Giacchi’s scientific production and according to the principal psychiatric theories at the and of XIX century.
