Abstract

History of medical teaching during the Middle Age is an interesting field of study and research; medicine, at least from XIII century, is largely based on the way in which every other kind of knowledge is transmitted into the Scholastic philosophy. Medieval medical studies are deeply different from the standard offered by classical antiquity or by university teaching of Modern Age.
