Abstract
Hippocrates’ Epidemics I and III stand out in the collection of the works attributed to the physician from Kos. Several observations within this treatise deal with the specificity of the female body, and the paper will analyze how the author of the two books described the peculiar female constitution, as well as the clinical cases involving women.
