Reading Cardano’s work, with its richness and its modernity, a complex intellectual pattern emerges. The technique of splendor, perfectible and transmissible to others, is only cursorily dealt with, even if Cardano mentions it throughout his whole work. In order to assess its meaning, we have followed Cardano’s advice, to inquire minutiae, fragments, reiterating the work on texts.
