About the Journal

Journal Focus and Ethical Standards

Focus and Scope: This journal concentrates on multidisciplinary research within the domain of Cognitive Philology, a field dedicated to studying written and oral texts as manifestations of human mental processes. The discipline juxtaposes findings from textual science with outcomes from experimental research in both the psychological and artificial intelligence domains. Emphasis is placed on rigorously examining the latter from a philological perspective. Cognitive philology explores methods of text transmission, the classification of diverse knowledge using information theory, the selective nature of narrative subjects, and the role of rhythm, meter, and semantic association in cognitive map processing. Additionally, it serves as the foundation for scientific knowledge in developing digital and multimedia editions. A recent focus involves studying digital platforms for historical and prosopographical analysis based on cognitive ontologies and semantic web.
