Attendance, use and perception of real and virtual spaces have been conditioned by the constraints imposed by the management of the Covid-19 emergency. These restrictions have made clear the importance of spatial categories in the definition and articulation of existences and experiences. This paper reflects on how the ways of experiencing and perceiving real and virtual spaces have changed during the lockdown. The paper presented the analysis of the data collected through an online questionnaire spread on the national territory from 22 April to 3 May 2020. The aim is to assess whether and how the perception and experience of real spaces (domestic and public), virtual space and time differ on the basis of variables and conditions linked to the socio-demographic and professional status of the respondents, the housing conditions and their geographical origin.
