Abstract

The restrictions imposed by the management of the Covid-19 emergency have made clear the importance of spatial categories in the definition and articulation of existences and experiences. This paper reflects on how the ways of experienc-ing and perceiving real and virtual spaces have changed during the lockdown. The paper presented the analysis of the data collected through an online ques-tionnaire spread on the national territory from 22 April to 3 May 2020. The aim is to assess whether and how the perception and experience of real spaces (domestic and public), virtual space and time differ on the basis of variables linked to the socio-demographic and professional status of the respondents, the housing condi-tions and their geographical origin.
