Abstract

Migrations have become one of the principal social phenomena of
the twenty-first century; they can distinguish entire communities and territories. Many scientific branches contribute to the analysis and understanding of migratory processes, each according to its specific particularity.
In the course of a lively and stimulating day long debate historians,
anthropologists, linguists, anglicists, geographers, musicologists,
cinema experts and journalists were the protagonists accompanying
the various presentations through segments of diversely shared migratory
life.

Les migrations sont devenues un des principaux phénomènes sociaux
du XXIe siècle au point de caractériser des communautés entières
et des territoires. Les disciplines qui peuvent contribuer à l’analyse et à
la compréhension des processus migratoires sont nombreuses, chacune
avec leurs spécificités et particularités: des chercheurs en histoire,
anthropologie, géographie, musique, cinéma, des anglicistes et des
journalistes, protagonistes d’une riche et stimulante confrontation, se
succèdent tout au long de la journée pour évoquer, selon leurs différents
points de vue, de longs pans de la vie des migrants.
