Abstract

In the worlds of literature, objects often assume multiple values and meanings. Even art, religion and literature seem to become objects that can be reproduced in series, spendable and affordable, but the effects produced by the dynamics of the bourgeois object form are not always predictable. Through objects disseminated in every layer of the text, we can find the never-silenced extensions of religion, economics and bourgeois politics. Objects are often loaded with symbolic values: they are a symbol of a mood, a social class, a feeling, a degradation, and so on. Consequently, transfiguration of objects can give rise to different perspectives of meaning in the structures of narrative.
