Abstract

To celebrate the fiftieth year of of the BNL’s economic journals (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro Quarterly Review and Moneta e Credito) Luigi Ceriani devotes a grateful, affectionate recollection to Imbriani Longo, BNL Manager who approved the launch of the journals without hesitation, happily supporting and never interfering in their operations. Ceriani highlights two episodes that show Longo’s handling of difficult decisions in especially critical situations.
