Literary Translation and ‘Cultural Transfer’ between Italy and Romania: Ponti di parole

Abstract

The research program Literary Translation and ‘Cultural Transfer’ between Italy and Romania, distinguished by its significant innovative aspect, aimed to establish an important digital resource for the study of literary and cultural relations, and more generally of the dynamics of cultural transfer, between Italy and Romania. In this paper we briefly present the theoretical and methodological premises of the project, its scientific objectives, and the research and processing phases that led to the cataloguing of the materials collected on the website Ponti di parole.
