Le banche e la finanza nell’Europa del Rapporto Draghi

Nel Rapporto Draghi, pubblicato nel settembre 2024, viene analizzato il difficile momento economico dell’Unione Europea. Anche se non si occupa direttamente delle banche e della finanza, il Rapporto presenta proposte ambiziose per rilanciare la competitività europea che richiederanno investimenti di almeno 800 miliardi di euro l’anno per un quinquennio, ponendo con ciò la necessità di una piena mobilitazione della finanza pubblica e dei risparmi privati. In questo articolo cercheremo di far emergere le logiche che animano il Rapporto Draghi, esaminando come analizza sia il tema dei mercati finanziari sia i necessari sviluppi del sistema bancario europeo, che il Rapporto propone di sviluppare verso il modello americano, anziché approfondire una possibile alternativa anche in relazione conflittuale verso quel modello, per garantire il futuro dell’Unione.
