Abstract

Piero Sraffa (1898-1983) è stata una delle persone più straordinarie a Cambridge , dove ha vissuto dal 1927 al 1983. Questo , a detta di chi lo conosceva , e soprattutto i docenti della Facoltà di Economia e dei membri dei Collegi cui egli apparteneva , il the King’s e il  Trinity. Sraffa aveva una qualità molto rara , in quanto egli era uno studioso molto meticoloso e allo stesso tempo un pensatore brillante e originale . In questo tributo , la vita e la carriera di Sraffa sono evidenziati , tra cui i principali problemi che hanno contribuito al suo impatto duraturo e nel campo dell'economia.

Piero Sraffa (1898-1983) was one of the most extraordinary people at Cambridge, where he lived from 1927 to 1983.
