This article is based on an extended concept of visual communication; taking in photography, cinema, design, art, fashion, architecture, social networks; focusing on some key words with the aim of exploring the current political cultural neo-authoritarian phase; in its research it applies ethnographic indiscipline, astonishing methodology and polyphonic compositions. The key concepts are:
ubiquitous subjects - ubiquitousness is there in the fluid context in which the experience of the contemporary subject takes place given the pervasive nature of digital culture.
visual fetishism – the changing fetishism in contemporary communication is a challenge to anthropology.
cultural syncretism – incompatible cultural fragments are bound together in a montage of things that are familiar and strange at the same time.
metropolis of communication- the industrial city fades and is increasingly replaced by a new metropolis defined by digital communication.
In this roaming perspective astonishing methodological can observe the possible relationship between meta-fetishism and meta-morphosis (metamorphic fetishism) which passes through and mixes myth and history, petrification and reification, digital and analogue. Exact imagination can involve the dispersion of ubiquitousness which fluidify all fixed identity resulting in liberation and regression, indifference and resentment. The experiences that seem to define the cosmopolitan-digital condition give rise to a congestion of impulses which seduce and submerge the subject.
Ubiquitous utopia emerges between the nowhere of utopia and everywhere of ubiquitousness: and in the middle you have possible imagination which gives rise to subversive non-anthropocentric anthropology where human beings are no longer the centre of the cosmos but cohabit with other subjectivity or relatively autonomous entities, which may be commercial, mineral, vegetable, animal in kind or even digitally divine creations.
