About the Journal
Studi (e testi) italiani is a six-montly peer-reviewed open access journal focused on Italian studies. Founded in 1998 by Amedeo Quondam and directed by him until 2012; from 2013 to 2023 the Editor in chief was Beatrice Alfonzetti; since 2024 it has been directed by Italo Pantani. Published by Bulzoni until 2018; since 2019 by Sapienza Università Editrice. Starting from 2025, the journal is distributed both in print and online. Studi (e testi) italiani has been listed by ANVUR as a 'scientific' journal for Area 10.
