Abitare precario tra i margini. Limiti, scarti e rotture nel fare territorio

Abstract

Partendo dall’osservazione di pratiche abitative ai margini, questo testo intende approfondire il legame tra interdipendenza (intesa come dipendenza dagli altri per la sopravvivenza) e lotta per la sopravvivenza. Il testo si propone di comprendere come questi due aspetti si intreccino con diverse forme di precarietà. In contesti di margine, alcuni corpi sono particolarmente vulnerabili ed esposti a condizioni precarie per effetto di conflitti, colonialismo e sgomberi forzati. L’articolo indaga le diverse pratiche e le forze creative che emergono in contesti marginali difficilmente categorizzabili, e all’interno dei quali prendono forma inediti processi, temporalità e spazi prodotti dalla precarietà e dalla crisi. Qui, la sopravvivenza non è l’unico obiettivo; piuttosto, è uno stato dell’esistenza stessa e dei suoi spazi, che coesiste con altre preoccupazioni. Il testo incrocia tre storie spaziali, laddove il margine è margine storico, geografico, discorsivo e urbano. Le tre storie, che emergono direttamente dalle storie di ricerca degli autori, si collocano rispettivamente nella foresta pluviale Perùviana, nella valle di Beqaa in Libano e alla periferia di Yangon, in Birmania.
