Abstract

Contemporary scene, in Italy and abroad, has been facing serial projects mainly since 2000, creating new artistic forms, hybridations and involving different traditions. This new perspective seems to become, regarding some research theatre groups, an increasingly popular, and constantly growing, experimental ground. This is due to many factors, part intrinsic part extrinsic to the artistic phenomenon that will be discussed in this paper.Beginning from V. Nabokov’s Ada and The Wizard of Oz by Fanny & Alexander, to Rafael Spregelburd’s Bizzarra and Teatro Sotterraneo with their Be legend!, finally with I quattro moschettieri by I Sacchi di Sabbia, the idea of serial narration in theatre plays with penny dreadful, soap operas, radiophonic revue and with the new TV  series’ language, in order to develop a reflection and renew both dramaturgical devices and relationship between public and scene.

Rodolfo Sacchettini, NABA, Milano

Rodolfo Sacchettini è dottore di ricerca in Italianistica. Ha pubblicato L’oscuro rovescio, sulla narrativa di Tommaso Landolfi (Sef, 2006), e La radiofonica arte invisibile. Il radiodramma italiano prima della televisione (Titivillus, 2011). È critico teatrale per la rivista “Lo straniero” e ha curato cicli dedicati al radiodramma e alle nuove creazioni audio per Radio 3 Rai. Ha pubblicato saggi sul teatro contemporaneo nella collana “I libri quadrati” della Ubulibri. Collabora con l’Enciclopedia Treccani per la stesura di voci afferenti al teatro, allo spettacolo e alla creazione radiofonica. È stato professore a contratto all’Università di Urbino negli anni 2012/2013 e 2013/2014 per il corso “Forme e linguaggi del teatro e dello spettacolo”. Insegna “Documentario Audio” alla NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano. Ha codiretto il Festival di Santarcangelo per il triennio 2012/2014 ed è Presidente dell’Ass. Teatrale Pistoiese dal 2012.
