Diabolik: Il tempo mitico di un fumetto iconico
Keywords:
Diabolik, fumetti, serie, temporalità, memoria testualeAbstract
This article describes the fundamental characteristics of the Diabolik serial system and reflects on the temporality that characterises it. In particular, it examines how the essentially iterative nature of the main series generates a mythic temporality that, despite the introduction over the last twenty years of some aspects of narrative continuity, still permeates the entire Diabolik universe. The paper also discusses the construction of serial memory in the different publications dedicated to Diabolik; specifically, it addresses the issue of retroactive continuity and emphasises the role of some figurative elements that, assuming a symbolic function, contribute to the cohesion of this imaginary universe.
