This essay analyzes the cinematographical aspects about the italian magazine-journal Topolino, edited by Nerbini (1932-1935), and uses a historical and cultural methodology in order to describe rare products and to evaluate their impact in italian film culture. In particular, we will focus on the link between comics and metatextual cinematographical references. First of all, this article aims to give a reference mapping about cinema, comics and the colums of the magazine.
